I’m trying to think of a project I can do with Photoshop. I’m a novice at using Photoshop, but what are some things I can do with it that aren’t too hard, but aren’t too easy either?
I have a bunch of png images that I want to make transparent so that they won’t have that obnoxious white box around them. How would I go about doing this? I just downloaded Gimp since I know it can make images transparent somehow, and I have no idea how to work the program.
I would like to start a logo design company (just me) from home so I can look after my wee daughter while earning enough money so I don’t need to return to work.
I have a web site, http://www.victoriaanndesign.com but would like to seek out new clients and be proactive myself. What are the best ways of doing this?
Local is good, but it’s not the be-all and end-all, overseas custom is just as much appreciated.
