I need to design a logo for a menu for a hair salon, or a business card.

    Drawing of a logo can be done with the Paint feature packaged in most windows software. The challege is to get it registered as your own. Search clip art for drawings suitable for a business card. Contact the company who will do your printing for their input as well. It might be possible to get a cheaper rate depending on the images you decide upon. (Some are far too “Busy” to be on a business card)
