How Do I Put Sound To Animations Made On Gimp?

im going to start using gimp to make my animations, and was wondering whether i could put sound (voiced by me) on the animations?
could i use movie maker, if so what format do i save the animation?

Bob, your avatar, something about Bob’s avatar… hmmm.
Anyhow, there is papagayo for 32-bit platforms. Since papagayo started on Linux, and so did GIMP, maybe they have connected. Papagayo takes a .wav and makes a motion-capture file.
